Cash is 6 Months old!

This kid is just too cute! Seriously people...doesn't he just melt your heart?! It has been wonderful being able to photograph this little man for the last 6 months! His parents are doing a session every 3 months for his first year. What a fun way to watch him grow!

What a precious little man! It was such a blessing to get to finally meet him! Almost 2 weeks past his due date, but well worth the wait! BOY IS HE HANDSOME! Congratulations mom and dad, he is amazing.

 

Welcome to the world baby Lydia!

Newborn Sessions are wonderful. There really is no better way to spend an afternoon than by snuggling a cute little baby! This sweet little girl was nothing but snuggles. She seriously slept the entire time. She was AMAZING! What a beautiful little blessing.

Let me start off by saying "I LOVE MY CLIENTS!". I really do! Most of my work is from referrals. I love hearing about how they called me as soon as they saw the photos I had taken for their friend. I have even started offering my current clients a discount when they refer me! (check out the specials section on the blog for more info!)
So, I am always a little surprised (an excited) when a new client fins me simply by searching the Internet! That is exactly how this family found me! They were in town for 3 months visiting family and friends and wanted to get some family pictures done. The best part? They are from SWITZERLAND! Sweet! My first international client! I was THRILLED!
She had a onesie for her daughter. It was in French, but it says "It wasn't me who took the chocolate". So we had some fun with that at the end of our shoot!

Squishy Newborn Photography

One of my favorite things to photograph are NEWBORNS! They are so tiny and peaceful. I especially love it when they are SQUISHY! It takes all of my self control to not just squeeze their little (or sometime huge) cheeks. If they have cheeks hats with ear flaps are a MUST. The ear flaps just accentuate their squishy face and makes them even more amazing. Their squishy lips. Oh MAN! Babies with squishy lips are amazing! You just want to kiss them (don't worry, I wont be kissing your baby when I photograph them....I thankfully have my own babies to smooch on)!
This little guy was no acception to the squishyness. Squishy cheeks AND squishy lips! His parents must kiss him ALL DAY LONG. I know I would if he was my kid.

Waiting for baby

I love the excitement that a Maternity Session brings.  Couples are always anxious to meet their new baby, but somehow Maternity Sessions exemplify that excitement. I too can't wait to meet their little one. I always look forward to the email that tells me their baby is here and it's time for the Newborn Session! This session was no different. I loved the interaction between the girls and their new baby sister! She is definitely going to be getting lots of kisses from them! The newborn session with these girls is going to be too sweet!
